The Nano Has Some Pint-Sized Competition in the ZEN M300

I know what you're thinking: Why would anyone in this day and age need another MP3 player?
Well, maybe you're a well-muscled specimen and don't feel particularly at ease dragging your new $200 iPhone to the sweaty gym. Or maybe you're a super serious runner who likes the lightweight portability of a more Nano-sized music player. Or maybe — just maybe — you have really tiny hands.
Creative's new ZEN M300 media player is a nice alternative to the iPod Nano, especially if you happen to be one of those folks who churn at the sight of an Apple logo. In addition to MP3 playback, this little guy packs an FM radio, can play SMV movie files on its 128x128 screen, and is Bluetooth enabled for folks who prefer cordless headphones.
Unlike the Nano, the ZEN doesn't have a touchscreen, but rather relies on five touch-keys dispersed around the bezel. The specs are saying up to 20 hours of battery life when you're playing standard MP3 files, but if you're watching movies or anything it'll likely be much shorter than that.
Prices are set at $40 for the 4GB model, $60 for 8GB, and $80 for 16GB, with black, white, yellow and red to choose from.
